Materials/MethodsThe UN has already gathered a lot of data concerning the SDGs, but that data is mostly just the numerical data. The data is analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), specifically gathering the descriptive statistics and analyzing the data using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance).

What is SPSS?SPSS is a computer program that is used for data documentation and management as well as statistical analysis of that data. SPSS allows researchers to easily gather the descriptive and inferential statistics form a data set. SPSS also had tool to make comparisons and predictions based off of raw data.

What are Descriptive Statistics?Descriptive Statistics are visual or numerical representations of data that describe the data. The descriptive statistics do not allow conclusions to be drawn. The descriptive statistics are a good way of showing the parameters of the data without any kind of analysis.

What is ANOVA?ANOVA is a comparison of the means of data with multiple variables. ANOVA answers the question “is there a difference in the means across groups.” ANOVA determines whether or not there is a relationship between groups in a data set. ANOVA compares the means and variances of data with multiple variables to determine the relationship between the variables.
